Hello Photographers, Tom here from Cameras Direct with another Nikon DSLR Camera Review.
Today we’re going to look at the new Nikon D750. This is Nikon’s latest full-frame DSLR.

The D750 is a 24 megapixel sensor which will give you class-leading resolution and dynamic range.

The dynamic range is fantastic for the landscape and wedding photographers and the videographers as well.
One thing that is particularly handy to the videographers is the new tilting screen which of course gives you a lot more versatility when videoing down low, up right, as well as for the macro and landscape photographer who will also I find this feature extremely handy.

The new auto-focus system in the D750 comes straight from the D4’s. Its an improvement on the D610, and look is simply amazing. Couple that with the six-and-a-half frames a second motor drive which is absolutely flying for a camera with the 24 megapixel sensor, the D750 could also be used by the sports photographer.

Whether for wedding, landscapes sports photography, videography – Nikon have definitely covered a lot of bases.

The camera is an alloy magnesium chassis. It also has wifi built into the camera as well, so that’s a huge  advantage for the social photographer or the photographer who likes to upload to Facebook or Instagram.

The built-in flash with Nikon’s full frame cameras is very handy, especially in the commander mode where you can control other Nikon speedlights wirelessly. So a huge plus for the indoor photography, the portrait photographer as on so.

Another feature is the beautiful view finder.

The D750 also, even though it’s a full frame camera do still maintain all the auto and scene modes. These modes give a photographer the choice to quickly rip the camera into an auto mode for holiday snapshots and just point and shoot without having to worry about being creative with shutter speed and apertures. In other words let the camera deal with it, which it does very well because it’s amazing auto focus system and its incredible metering system.

You also get some special effects on there as well on the top dial.

One other great mode which I do love, is the User 1 and User 2 modes. Now in these modes you can set the cameras mode, white balance, focus, all the functions and features that you want for a specific type of photography and then locked then in to a User 1 or User 2 mode. That for me is a huge plus and something that I really do like.

In the memory card department, the camera uses a dual SD card slot that’s very handy for writing JPEG or raw or raw to one memory card and Jpeg to another or using it as a backup or an overflow . When you couple this with a battery grip from Nikon you’ve got as I say a wonderful camera.

Look all you Nikon photographers and videographers who want to upgrade to a full frame or come from an older D700 which is that legendary full frame from a few years back with Nikon, this is a wonderful replacement.
