Nikon D5500 Digital SLR Camera Review

The above Nikon D5500 Digital SLR Camera Review is yours to watch or you can read the transcript below albeit a rough transcript.

Hello Photographers, Tom here from Cameras Direct with another Nikon DSLR Camera Review.
Today, a quick look at the brand new Nikon D5500 DSLR.
This is the first Nikon digital SLR with the touch screen. Now Canon has had a touch screen for a few years now so it’s about time Nikon caught up and they have. The D5500 is a wonderful little camera.

Now touchscreen, you think ahhh do i need one? Well that’s what I thought when I first saw touch screen come in, but I can tell you now, pinch and zoom and swipe when looking at photos is alone enough reason to buy a touchscreen camera. Let alone, the ability to touch to focus and so on. The touchscreen is a great addition to the range.

24 megapixel sensor without a optical low-pass filter which means super sharpness.

Full HD video of course. The D5500 has Auto mode Scene modes as well as full manual control.

Wonderful little auto-focus system with 39 points.

Five frames per second motor drive and the camera also has wifi, which means you just download the free wifi to your phone, link the two together and you can even use the phone as a remote control.

Look great little camera. On of the big things that happened with the D5500 from the D5300 is the new design as
well.

The D5500 has a deeper grip, makes the camera lot easier to hold but it is also smaller than its earlier D5300 incarnation.

Great camera. Amazing image quality and touchscreen.
